BioGro approved liquid fertiliser
NPK: 6-1-3
Nitrosol Organic is produced using hydrolysed deep-sea fish blood and bone together with seaweed and carbohydrates to provide a balanced 6-1-3 BioGro approved Organic NPK formulation.
Nitrosol-Organic is full of organic material which nurture and feed the microbiological activity in the soil. This in turn increases bacterial and fungal activity, cycling and earthworm count.
As a result you are likely to see soil structure improvements and increased availability of the trace element, nutrients and minerals that are important to plant growth. Having been around for more than 48 years - you can trust the Nitrosol name.
Nitrosol Organic - Perfect for Pasture and Crops.
Being made using organic material from ocean sources deep sea fishing operations it is perfect for use on pastoral grazing land as well as in horticulture. Nitrosol Organic promotes a hardy and compact growth habit, stimulating photosynthesis and providing better nutrient uptake. This means plants and pasture treat with Nitrosol Organic will grow to their best genetic potential.
What's In Nitrosol Organic?
Nitrosol Organic is a smooth, liquid suspension made using modern technology. As a result it contains all the important nutrients in a form readily available to the plant without needing to add any other processing aids.
BioGro approved as an input. BioGro approval 5575.
This one-step organic based, colloidal liquid suspension contains;
- A balanced formulation of organic marine blood & bone, minerals, seaweed and other trace elements to help assist with soil and plant deficiencies and imbalances.
- NPK of 6-1-3 which can be absorbed and utilized through both the foliage and the soil.
- A naturally occurring growth promotant to stimulate the plants to absorb and use all the available minerals and trace elements.
- Organic matter including amino acids, proteins, globulin, albumin and cholesterols to nurture and feed the soil biology.
- Naturally occurring carbohydrates to encourage the plants to take up and use all the available nutrients.
How to Use Nitrosol Organic
For all applications Nitrosol Organic can be blended with other organic materials, lime etc. Always bench test for compatibility first and make sure Nitrosol Organic is added last. DO NOT store product that has been mixed with water as it will not keep.
Over time Nitrosol Organic may settle in the container so you should agitate the contents before use.
General Home Garden Use
Dilution with water is usually recommended to be 1:100. Make sure well agitated before mixing.
Some guidelines for mixing Nitrosol are below:
- 10ml (about 2 teaspoon) per litre of water.
- 20ml (about 4 teaspoons) per 2 litres of water
- One litre per 100 litres of water
For irrigation or fertigation systems use 1 litre per 100 litres of concentrated solution. Clean filter regularly and make sure you flush the lines thoroughly with water.
Pasture : Sheep & Beef
As Nitrosol Organic is fish based it is safe and approved for use on pasture to be consumed by ruminants such as sheep, cattle, goats, deer etc.
Use at the rate of 20-40 litres per hectare (8 - 16 litres per acre) two to three times a year but particularly during autumn and spring, Mix with sufficient water to ensure coverage of required amount of Nitrosol Organic per hectare. The more water able to be applied the better but depending upon your gear you can vary to suit your boom width, spray rate and spray speed. For ground boom spraying the dilution might be 1:10 - 1:50. Helicopter or fixed wing aircraft application might end up being as low as 1:1. Application of Nitrosol in the rain is ok.
Pasture : Dairy
Nitrosol Organic is ok to use on pasture grazed by dairy cows. Application rates are 30-50 litres per hectare (12 - 20 litres per acre) two to three times a year but at least once in spring and once in autumn.
Mix with sufficient water to ensure coverage of required amount of Nitrosol Organic per hectare. The more water able to be applied the better but depending upon your gear you can vary to suit your boom width, spray rate and spray speed.
Nurseries
If you want to use Nitrosol Organic for germinating seeds, transplanting seedlings, planting out of cuttings or shrubs and trees or general repotting then mix Nitrosol with water at a 1:50 dilution. Use the diluted mix on seed beds at time of sowing. Repeat application weekly.
You can soak seedlings in the diluted mix overnight prior to transplanting and then use the residual diluted mix on the seedling after planting. Use both around the root zone and on the foliage.
General Garden Use
For general use around garden on green vegetables, tomatoes, flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, lawns, vines house plants etc., mix Nitrosol at the recommended 1:50 dilution and use around the root zone and foliage. During times of rapid growth such as spring and Autumn apply weekly or at any time when plants are stressed. At other times monthly application is fine.
Orchards and Viticulture
Including pip fruit, stone fruit, grapes, olives, nuts, grapes, avocado etc. apply 1-3 times a year at the rate of 20 litres per hectare in a reasonable amount of water.
Whenever crop or plant protection chemicals are combined to be sprayed, add Nitrosol as the last ingredient to the spray mix at the recommended dilution rate of 1:50 or at 4 - 15 litres per hectare. See cautions below on mixing and compatibility.
Glasshouse Fruit and Vegetables
Same as if used on fruit and vegetables outdoors. Great for lettuce, capsicums, chili, tomatoes, beans, cucumber and more.
Use the normal 1:50 dilution weekly or add to the spray tank as the last ingredient, with crop protection chemicals and spray to the drip point. See caution below.
If adding Into fertigation or liquid feed systems as a booster, add Nitrosol to the chemical liquid feed concentrate tank at the rate of 1 litre of Nitrosol per 100 litres of liquid feed concentrate.
Other Crops
Cotton, maize, corn, sorghum, canola, wheat, barley, tomatoes, etc.
As a booster, or to address limiting factors or stress, add Nitrosol to the spray tank at 1 - 5 litres per hectare. DO NOT exceed a dilution of greater than 1:100. Add to the spray tank as the last ingredient whenever crop or plant protection chemicals are applied. See caution below.
Mixing with weed sprays, pesticides and herbicides
Add Nitrosol to the spray tank at 1:100 last. When using selective herbicides it will help non-target plants to recover from the stress of the spray. Do a compatibility test first.
Compatibility Test if Mixing Nitrosol
Always check for chemical mix compatibility before using with other products. Mix up a small sample quantity in the same ratio as it is intended to be used. If the samples mix easily and stay in suspension, then further test by spraying onto a sacrificial plant or branch to identify any undesirable effects. Do this before widespread use on plants, trees, crops, etc.
To date Nitrosol Ltd have not identified any incompatibility with commonly used plants protection products in laboratory tests, however due to on-site variables such as water quality, new or changed chemical formulations, or changed mixtures of chemicals be sure to thoroughly test first and satisfy yourself as to suitability for mixing.
When used as directed Nitrosol Organic is environmentally friendly and is completely safe for bees, birds and butterflies.
Nitrosol is a registered tradename of Nitrosol Ltd.
