NoPests® X-IT Ant is a professional-grade outdoor surface insecticide designed for effective and long-lasting control of ant infestations and other crawling insect pests in New Zealand conditions.

Formulated with 80 g/L Bifenthrin as a suspension concentrate, this non-repellent treatment creates a residual barrier on exterior hard surfaces that remains effective for months, helping reduce ant activity over time. When ants and other insects walk across treated surfaces, the active ingredient adheres to their bodies and can be transferred back to the colony, increasing internal exposure — especially useful for tough species such as Argentine ants and Darwin’s ants.

NoPests® X-IT Ant can be applied to a wide range of outside areas, including:

• Concrete paths, driveways and patios

• Garden edges and tree trunks

• Building exteriors and paved surfaces

• Around lawns, irrigation pipework and hardscape zones

In addition to ants, this residual treatment also provides extended control against common outdoor crawling insects such as cockroaches and spiders, making it a versatile pest management option for residential, rural and commercial settings.

Used in a sprayer, X-IT Ant is rain-fast after one hour of sunlight once applied, providing a protective zone that insects cross and carry back to nests, helping extend the control effect across interconnected colonies and nesting sites.

Directions for Use – NoPests® X-IT Ant

NoPests® X-IT Ant is intended for outdoor use only and must be applied as a surface residual spray.

1. Mix at the recommended rate as stated on the product label (refer to SDS/Label PDF).

2. Apply evenly to clean exterior hard surfaces such as paths, patios, drives, walls and garden edges.

3. Allow treated surfaces to dry and then remain undisturbed to form a residual barrier.

4. Re-treat as required after rain, high traffic or surface wear.

5. Ideally, use a dedicated sprayer with no prior chemical residue to preserve non-repellent behaviour.

Best results are achieved when applied to areas where ant tracks, colony entry points or high insect activity are present. Avoid application to indoor surfaces or vegetation.
