The NoPests® Wasp Dome Trap (Lure Not Included) is a reusable, high-capacity outdoor trapping system designed to help reduce nuisance wasp populations around New Zealand homes, gardens, outdoor living areas, farms and commercial premises.

This dome-style wasp trap is used in conjunction with the NoPests® Wasp Lure (sold separately) to attract foraging wasps into the trap, where they are retained and removed from the surrounding area. The simple but effective design allows wasps to enter easily while limiting their ability to escape.

Ideal for placement around patios, decks, picnic areas, rubbish zones, sheds and fruit trees, the trap helps divert wasps away from people and food areas, reducing the risk of stings during warmer months.

With its large internal capacity, the NoPests® Wasp Dome Trap can capture large numbers of wasps before needing to be emptied, making it a practical and cost-effective solution for seasonal wasp management without the use of sprays or surface insecticides.

How to Use

1. Open the trap according to the trap manufacturer’s instructions.

2. Pour the recommended amount of NoPests® Wasp Lure into the lure reservoir or bait chamber.

3. Reassemble the trap securely.

4. Hang or place the trap outdoors in an area where wasp activity is high.

Best Placement Tips

• Position traps away from people and food areas, ideally 5–10 metres from patios, decks or BBQs

• Hang traps near rubbish bins, compost areas, sheds, fences or fruit trees

• Place traps in sunny or semi-sunny locations where wasps are actively foraging

• For best results, deploy traps early in the season to target emerging queens before nests establish

Maintenance

• Check traps regularly and top up NoPests® Wasp Lure Refill lure as required

• Replace the lure every 3–4 weeks, or sooner if diluted by rain or evaporation

• Empty traps when full and re-bait to maintain effectiveness throughout the season
