WHAT IS NITROSOL

Nitrosol is a range of biological fertilisers in a liquid concentrated form.  Sourced from either sheep processing abattoirs or fish processing operations these are designed as total replacement, one-step fertilisers.  

Nitrosol is a supply of NPK in the ratio of 11-5-7 which are all readily available to feed plants through both the foliage and through the soil to the roots.  The organic matter includes amino acids, albumin, globulin, cholesterol, humates and proteins – all considered to be the building blocks of life.  

The formulations are a careful balance of all the essential trace elements and minerals and include two naturally occurring growth promoters.

Nitrosol has proven results and we are currently selling two variants.

NITROSOL ORIGINAL

Well-known and respected for many years we are pleased to be able to add to the range the Nitrosol original blood and bone.  Mainly for horticultural use you can’t use blood & bone on pasture that will be grazed but this sourced from Ovine (Sheep) and not beef.

Renowned for more than 30 years, Nitrosol Original has quick uptake and is known for producing outstanding results in virtually any plant growing situation in New Zealand.

Nitrosol Original is not just ‘blood & bone’ concentrate in an easy-to-use liquid. It contains all of the essential trace elements and minerals together with all sorts of other goodies.

NITROSOL OCEANIC

This is fish based “blood & bone” with lots of other goodies thrown in to make a balanced fertiliser for use on pasture.  Also an 11-5-7 NPK fertiliser but proven growth on pasture.

Nitrosol Original is produced using hydrolysed deep-sea fish blood and bone together with trace elements and minerals to provide a rounded 11-5-7 NPK formulation.  

Nitrosol-Oceanic is full of organic material which nurture and feed the microbiological activity in the soil.  This in turn increases bacterial and fungal activity, cycling and earthworm count.

As a result you are likely to see an improvement in soil structure and increased availability of the nutrients, minerals and trace elements that are important to plant growth.  Having been around for more than 48 years - you can trust the Nitrosol name.   Oceanic is also BioGro approved as an input.


WHY USE NITROSOL

Nitrosol are balanced formulations, and most scientists recognise that a balance of all elements in the soil is a critical part of obtaining healthy plant growth.  Large doses of just one or two elements can ‘lock-up’ many others.  For example, bulk potassium can make magnesium unavailable.  Excess phosphorous can ‘lock-up’ zinc, calcium, iron and copper.

Years of research and practical testing of the original formula have gone into making this product a New Zealand brand icon.

The addition of two naturally occurring growth promoters stimulate photosynthesis and boost natural sugars in the plant, as well increasing cell division and elongation.
