Where are my Sheep?

Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep and doesn’t know where to find them. Leave them alone and they will come home, dragging their tails behind them.

It is not a fairy tale this time but a true and amusing anecdote.

I was chatting with one of our Gibb-Gro / Gibber 900 customers today. Based in the South Island they are now only running beef on five hectares but do run 4-5 sheep at a time, just for the pot. Our customer, who I will call Farmer Peep, was blown away the first time he applied Gibb-Gro to his pasture, which he did in conjunction with seaweed. Farmer Peep was blown away by the grass growth that he said was so long that he couldn’t find his sheep. Absolutely true. Even his neighbours would attest to that.

He managed to get a couple out of the long grass, but he ended up putting in the mower, which made the other three show themselves.

We cannot guarantee that Gibb-Gro gibberellic acid and Seaweed Treat Seaweed concentrate applied together this spring will cause you to lose your sheep, but we are confident that you will get a great boost in both grass growth and dry matter increases in only 3 weeks.

So, pick up your Gibb-Gro or Gibber 900 now and apply with our Seaweed concentrate flakes or with a nitrogen source like Nitrosol Nitrogen Boost (21N liquid) or Nitrosol Oceanic fish-based blood and bone fertiliser with NPK of 11-5-7.

Just don’t forget to move your sheep out first!!!
