EnergHi from Rainbow & Brown is a specialised pasture growth enhancer containing naturally occuring 1-triacontanol found in epicuticular waxes.

EnergHi is to be tank-mixed with Gibberellic Acid and used in conjunction with Liquid Nitrogen (20.7%) fertiliser. DO NOT use EnergHi as a stand-alone product. When applied correctly with Gibberellic Acid and nitrogen 20.7% fertilizer under appropriate growing conditions, it will encourage significant pasture growth through enhanced photosynthesis and improved nutrient uptake.

APPLICATION RATE:

• EnergHi: 25mls per hectare
• Gibberellic Acid 90%, such as Gibber900 or Gibb-Gro: 9g per hectare
• Liquid Nitrogen 20.7%: 100L per hectare

Application Requirements: Must be tank-mixed with Gibberellic Acid and liquid nitrogen 20.7% fertiliser. Application with a surfactant, such as SprayWetter is recommended for optimal performance.

PACKAGING: Available in 2.5L and 5L containers.

ENERGHI APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Timing & Conditions:

• Apply on 3-4 week cycles during autumn and spring when soil temperature is 6-13°C
• Apply 1-5 days after grazing, ensuring green leaf is present for foliar uptake
• Avoid winter applications in Canterbury, Otago, Southland and high/exposed areas where temperatures are too cold
• Do not apply to waterlogged or over-wet soils
• Do not spray if rainfall is expected within 2 hours

Pasture Management:

• Best suited to rotationally grazed pastures
• For set-stocked paddocks: remove stock prior to application and keep out for 3-4 weeks
• Stock can graze earlier if pasture becomes rank, but avoid grazing within 5-7 days post-treatment
• Do not apply to rank pasture, un-grazed pasture, pasture less than 1 year old, or paddocks containing livestock
• Avoid paddocks with toxic weeds or high weed populations that may taint milk

Mixing Instructions:

1. Add Gibberellic Acid 900g/kg (9g/ha) to spray tank partly filled with Liquid Nitrogen 20.7% fertiliser and dissolve
2. Add EnergHi (25ml/ha) to the spray tank
3. Add remaining liquid nitrogen fertilizer to achieve full required volume (100L/ha total)
4. Add surfactant last to minimise foaming
5. Maintain agitation throughout filling and spraying

Application Methods: Can be applied aerially or with conventional boom spraying equipment in minimum 100L liquid per hectare.
