Potassium Humate (humic acid), Fulvic Acid Soil Conditioner

Contains: 100% soluble humic acid and fulvic acid as the potassium salt.

**NOTE** Gibb-Gro Potassium Humate is now sold under the Rainbow & Brown BioTreat K-Mate brand and is the identical product with the same great benefits. When using with Gibb-Gro or Gibber900, dissolve 1.5-3.0kg per hectare in water and apply 200-500L of the solution per hectare. For optimal results, apply 3-4 times during the season.

WHAT IS K-MATE POTASSIUM HUMATE?

K-Mate Potassium Humate is the potassium salt of humic acid and often the terms humic acid, potassium humate and humates are used interchangeably.  Commercially potassium humate is produced by the alkaline extraction of Leonardite or Lignite.  This makes it water-soluble and our K-Mate is very soluble compared to many other forms, thus it can easily be absorbed by crops and pasture and has high utilisation rates.

Effectively Potassium humate is a soluble organic potash fertliser.

K-Mate Humic acid (Potassium humate) also contains fulvic acid, another naturally occuring soil acid resulting from the extraction process, potassium.  All these components are found naturally in the humus of soil.

WHY K-MATE POTASSIUM HUMATE (HUMIC ACID) IS SO GOOD

The naturally occurring organic soil acids like humic acid, fulvic acid and ulmic acid bind to the plant roots and help them receive nutrients and water so in cases where soils have high humic acid or potassium humate levels the yield of plants increases dramatically.

K-Mate Potassium Humate;

  • BioGro approved as an input.  Input number 5256.
  • Increases plant chlorophyll density.
  • Improves CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity) in soils.
  • Improves water holding capacity.
  • Promotes microbial activity by providing a carbon source and retained moisture.
  • Enhances plant root respiration.
  • Increases photosynthesis.
  • Has good chelating properties.
  • When used on acidic soils, K-mate Potassium humate can lock up aluminium, which is known to impede plant growth.
  • Is suitable to apply as a pre-dissolved liquid spray or sprinkled onto topsoil and raked in.
  • Improves calcium retention in the soil.
  • It acts as organic potash and increases available potassium in the soil and potassium absorption.
  • Improves soil structure.
  • Can hold and then slowly release nitrogen and phosphorus.
  • Has a buffering effect.
  • It is very cost-effective, providing higher yields and the ability to reduce traditional fertliser usage.

HOW TO USE K-MATE POTASSIUM HUMATE / HUMIC ACID / FULVIC ACID / POTASSIUM

K-Mate Potassium Humate applied as a Liquid Solution

Use 1.5-3.0kg per hectare dissolved in water and apply at 200-500L of made-up humate solution per hectare.  If possible apply 3-4 times during the season.

K-Mate can be mixed with a wide range of other products however we recommend doing a jar test prior to making up a spray solution. It can be combined with urea solutions or UAN but we do not recommend applying it with herbicides or pesticides due to the potential of an adverse reaction.  We do not recommend mixing with low pH (acidic) products or products containing phosphates or calcium.

K-Mate Potassium Humate applied as a granule/powder/flake

Use 2-5kg per hectare if applying to the soil as a broadcast soil conditioner at around 5% of the total blend.  e,g, for every 100kg Urea, DAP, MAP.  Do not exceed 20kg per hectare when broadcast.

So buy potassium humate now and we will ship your potassium humate NZ-wide.
