My partner sprayed the gibber  on the paddocks today - he wasn't supposed to do the one the sheep are currently in but did.

The instructions say stock should not graze the area for 6 odd weeks so is there a problem and do I need to get the sheep off - they are ewes and lambs

A: No need to move the stock, including the lambs. Gibber  has no toxic effects at all. There’s no withholding period required from a stock safety point of view. All the references on labels and literature to not grazing within such-and-such number of days after applying Gibber  are simply to let the stuff do its job and produce heaps of new lush growth. This process usually takes about 3 weeks from spraying to achieve its full potential, and if you graze it earlier then all it means is that you won’t get the same boost in growth because some of the treated grass will have been eaten before attaining that full growth level. So no harm done at all, except that you will probably not get full value for money on that particular paddock. The stock will be 100% unaffected.
