TerbGuard 500 is a selective herbicide for use in forestry, and a non-selective herbicide for residual weed control in non-cropland areas.

DO NOT USE ON PASTURE OR CROPLAND.

WEEDS TERBUTHYLAZINE CONTROLS

Terbuthylazine controls a wide range of weeds including barley grass, browntop, catsear, chickweed, clovers, cocksfoot, fathen, Kentucky bluegrass, nodding thistle, poa species, redroot, ryegrass species, Scotch thistle, seedling gorse, Shepherd’s purse, storksbill, sweet vernal, willow weed, Yorkshire fog plus annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.

TerbGuard 500 does not control deep-rooted perennial grasses such as paspalum, kikuyu or Indian doab.

APPLYING TERBGUARD 500

May be applied through all conventional spray equipment. Do not use strainers finer than 300 microns.

APPLICATION OF USE

Maximum application is 9.9kg of terbuthylazine/ha.

For Pine Release:

Aerial – 15-19L/ha in 150-300L water. Apply prior to spring growth. Use the higher rate on perennial grasses or when vegetation is dense.

Knapsack application – 1.5-1.9ml/sq metre – apply with sufficient water to obtain good coverage.

Non-Cropland Areas:

Broadcast application – 15-19L/ha in 150-300L water – use sufficient water to obtain even coverage. Add any of the following at the recommended label rates to control deep rooted perennial weeds. Rainbow & Brown Glyphosate 360, Rainbow & Brown Glyphosate 540 or Granny.
