Highly Effective Organosilicone Wetter and Penetrant
Contains: >90% organomodified polydimethylsiloxane
Organosilicones provide optimum penetration into woody-stemmed species (gorse, blackberry, etc).
Faster uptake by the plant; reduces rain risk.
Boosts herbicide performance against harder-to-kill species, and when target plants are stressed or dusty.
The quality of Rainbow & Brown Superwetter is right up there with the best on the market. We had the performance independently tested against a well-known leading brand product and the results are in the graph below.

Superwetter provides great penetration in turf that is hydrophobic (doesn't like water and dries out easily or water runs off easily). If used as prescribed Superwetter will help maintain turf vigour and health by allowing even distribution of water through the soil.
APPLICATION RATE AS A HERBICIDE ADJUVANT
The recommended Superwetter application rate is 100ml per 100L water, or between 500ml and 2L per ha for aerial spraying, depending on the target species and situation (see the herbicide directions for more details on recommended water volumes and herbicide/penetrant rates).
APPLICATION RATE FOR TURF MANAGEMENT
Superwetter can be used in turf management for dew control and dry spot treatment in turf, on golf courses, bowling greens, and sports grounds to improve water retention.
- Boom Spray at 1-3L/Ha using 400-1,000L/Ha, every 2-4 weeks as needed. Water in after application.
- Pre-treatment. If you are running a conventional non-ionic surfactant treatment programme Superwetter can be used for pre-treatment. Use 2-3L in 700-900L of water per hectare. Spray 5-8 days before commencing your normal wetter programme. It may be optimal to run a second treatment during the summer to provide optimal water penetration.
- Spot spraying. If you have localised areas lacking water or with Drypatch use 40ml/15L.
- Dew control. 2-4L/Ha on the morning of a night game or during the day. This will present dew forming by allowing the moisture to be absorbed by the turf. If you need longer terms control, apply by boom spray at 8L per 1,000L water per hectare.
APPLICATION RATES FOR LAWNS
Superwetter can be used on most lawns for dew control and dry spot treatment and to improve water retention.
- Spray at 15ml/15L, every 2-4 weeks as needed. Water in well after application.
- Pre-treatment. If you are running a conventional non-ionic surfactant treatment programme such as with Spraywetter, Superwetter can be used for pre-treatment. Use 2m/L in 15L of water and ensure you are covering 300m2. Spray 5-8 days before commencing your normal wetter programme. It may be optimal to run a second treatment during the summer to provide optimal water penetration.
- Spot spraying. If you have localised areas lacking water or with Drypatch use 40ml/15L and ensure well watered immediately after application.
